Book Talk.

I have not had my book talk i need to schedule that with Ms. Crabtree. Im a little confident that ill do fine, i read the book well and detailed.

Dear John.

So i finished Dear John. I wasn't too satisfied! They didn't fall in love like i expected. Its a good twist but i did not like it. I expected them to fall in love and live happily ever after. . . &THEY DIDN'T!!
i guess the way Nicholas Sparks explains in detail really catches your attention in the story! but his twists make me go crazyy!

Indie Reading.

My independent reading book The Bean Trees, so I've just begun reading this again.
I started it last time but changed my mind and decided to read Dear John.

So far I like this book. She is given so many choices and its between whether she'll make the right ones. She is left with a little Indian girl, she doesn't know her at all nor does she know her name. She names her Turtle. She is driving into other states. She meets people along the way. She's left her hometown of Kentucky. Where girls are left to be housewives and mothers, Missy wants to do more than that, she wants to see other things.

It connects to plenty of pieces of literature and text, by the simple theme of "choose wisely."

Most Recent Books.

Lately I've been reading 'Dear John,' and 'The Bean Trees.'
Dear John is about a guy who's on leave from the army and he visits his hometown and the beach. One day while surfing he meets Savannah, and they basically fall in love and he has to go back after a few weeks, and they have a long distance relationship, after 911 he decides to enlist again without asking Savannah about it first.
The Bean Trees is about a girl 'Missy,' who leaves her no good town, where young girls drop out of high school and get pregnant, Missy gets a job at a hospital, buys herself a car, and leaves to Arizona, where a woman leaves her a three year old little girl. Missy has to decide whether she'll keep the child or give it away to adoption.

Reading Poem.

Sisters always,
Landon in the hallways,
Anna has gone away.

Sisters today and tomorrow,
Jamie said no Sorrow,
Kate needed Anna's kidney to borrow.

Sisters forever,
Faith is wherever,
Leaving was clever.
